Let me start this in a dramatic way: I believe that there have been times in human history that have proved exceptionally formative to the way that we think. These times are when we are at our most vulnerable or our most strong–I mean such things in the most broad terms. We are in a vulnerable time. We are extremely susceptible to those who would take advantage of a time like this by manipulating, scaring, harming. There are those who would attempt to inform us of our various options, encourage reason, free thought, free everything.

It is more important now than it has been in some time for those of us who believe in reason, freedom, equality, and social responsibility to “weigh in” on the most relevant topics. Today those topics are Morality, Religion, Spirituality, and, unfortunately, God. My next post, and many of my posts, will be concerned with such arguments. I encourage people to respond, debate, and argue my opinions, for that is essential for such a debate, and I thank anyone in advance for considering my opinions.
